LOS ANGELES, CA– The Kings rallied from a two-goal deficit to defeat the Stars, 3-2.

After a disastrous first period for the Kings, Tanner Jeannot and Warren Foegle shifted the momentum.

Foegle assisted Jeannot on the goal that gave them a goal to cut the Stars’ lead to 2-1. Later in the third period, Jeannot assisted Foegle, which gave the Kings the lead.

Foegle and Jeannot each collected 2 points as they both racked up a goal and an assist.

Los Angeles brought physicality and wore down the Dallas offense. The Kings had 32 hits while the Stars only had 8.

Defensively, the Kings also executed in blocking shot attempts. Los Angeles had 21 blocks while Dallas had 13.

While Dallas is considered a Stanley Cup contender, the Kings defense delivered this statement victory.

“You want to come out and make a statement to yourselves,” Tanner Jeannot said. “Prove that you can compete with the best in the league.”

In defeat, Wyatt Johnston and Mason Marchment scored the two goals for the Stars.

The Kings have won four in a row and will face their biggest test on Saturday. The Kings will host the Wild, who have the best record in the league.
