INGLEWOOD, Calif.– — Jalen Green scored 31 points and along with the Houston Rockets balance attack help knock off the Clippers 117-106 on Sunday night.

The Rockets are now 3-0 against the Clippers this season.

Amen Thompson added 22 points and Dillion Brooks chipped in with 19 in the win for Houston.

The Clippers were without star guard James Harden who was a late scratch due to a groin injury he suffered in the previous game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. He is now listed as day-to-day according to coach Tyronn Lue.

Bones Hyland stepped up to lead the Clippers with 22 points in 28 minutes. He shot 5-for-10 from 3 to help Los Angeles keep the game close. Los Angeles had five players score in double figures but it was their defense that struggled to contain the Rockets.

In their three loses to the Rockets, the Clippers are allowing 117.6 points per game. They only give up 107.4 points per game this season which places them 5th in the NBA.

The Clippers next matchup with the Rockets will be on April 9th.

Los Angeles now gets four days off before they travel to play the Denver Nuggets on Friday night.
