INDIANAPOLIS — Aari McDonald came off the bench to propel the Sparks over the Fever, 88-82.

Aari McDonald scored 21 points on 6/9 field goals and 60% shooting from three point land.

“Now that we have injuries, it has been the next man up mentality,” Aari McDonald said. “I’m just trying to be consistent and do my job.”

McDonald helped the Sparks bench outscore the Fever bench by a margin of 31-9.

Aari McDonald scored 7 points in the first quarter to help the Sparks obtain an early 9 point lead in the game.

The Sparks were also the more efficient team from beyond the arc. Los Angeles shot 60.9% from three pointers while Indiana only shot 33.2% from three.

The total field goal shooting was also in favor of the Sparks as well. The Sparks shot 47.2% on total shots while the Fever were 38.2% on field goals.

In the fourth quarter, the Sparks were able to knock down four three pointers to help put the game away.

Despite the Fever falling short, Caitlin Clark scored a career high 30 points. Clark also had 3 blocks and 3 steals.

The Sparks avenge Friday’s loss to the Fever and even the series matchup at 1-1.

The Sparks secured their second win of the season and head to Chicago on Thursday. Los Angeles will look to get their first back-to-back wins against the Sky.
