PORTLAND, Ore.- – — Norman Powell continued his great play as he scored 23 points to lead the Clippers as they rout the Portland Trail Blazers Trail Blazers 118-89 on Thursday night.
Powell shot 7-for-12 from the field making three 3s on the night. He is averaging a career-high 23.7 points so far this season.
James Harden added 19 points to help the Clippers win their third straight game. Six players scored in double figures for Los Angeles.
The Clippers never trailed in this game. Los Angeles was without Kawhi Leonard in the game.
This is now the third straight game the Clippers have held their opponent under 100 points.
The Clippers (23-17) were coming off of a night after beating the Brooklyn Nets at home by a franchise-record 59 points.
In the last three games the Clippers are allowing just 85 points per game.
