NEW ORLEANS – – — Norman Powell scored 35 points and James Harden added 27 points as the Clippers catch the New Orleans Pelicans 116-113 on Monday night.
Harden was clutch late knocking down four free throws in the finals second to secure the win for Los Angeles.
Powell carried the offense throughout shooting 13-27 including 4-12 from 3.
Ivica Zubac performed well once again adding 20 points and 16 rebounds.
The Pelicans led by as many as 14 points leading 59-45 in the second quarter until the Clippers closed the half on an 11-3 run to cut the lead 6.
Los Angeles trailed most of this game never leading by more than four points.
The Clippers are back at it tonight as they travel to fax the Spurs in San Antonio.
