WASHINGTON — — James Harden goes off for 43 points in the Clippers 121-96 win over the Washington Wizards on Wednesday night.
43 points for Harden is his season-high on the year. Harden got it all started with a lights out first quarter which he scored 23 points in the period going 9-11 from the field and 5-7 from 3.
Ivica Zubac added 18 points and 16 rebounds. Jordan Miller chipped in 15 points.
After the blowout loss on Monday night to the Boston Celtics, the Clippers put the loss behind them and dominated. Los Angeles are now 2-1 on the road trip.
In four of the last five wins for Los Angeles they have kept teams under 100 points.
Next up for the Clippers is a matchup with Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night to finish up their four-game road trip.
