INGLEWOOD, Calif. — — James Harden led all scorers with 24 points and the Los Angeles Clippers won their sixth straight game in a row at home, knocking off the Orlando Magic 104-93 on Wednesday night.

Harden shot just 5 of 14 from the field, but made 11 of 12 free throws to go with seven rebounds and five assists.

The Clippers were without leading scorer Norman Powell who was a late scratch for Los Angeles.

owell was out of Wednesday night’s lineup against the Orlando Magic with a hamstring injury. Clippers coach Tyronn Lue says Powell will also miss Friday’s home game against the Sacramento Kings as well.

Amir Coffey, who started in place of injured Powell scored 18 points and Ivica Zubac chipped in with  17 points on 8-of-11 shooting and 12 rebounds.

“Guys going to have to step up, play the right way, don’t try to do it all by ourselves,” Lue said. “It’s going to have to be collective and so our guys will understand that and so hopefully we can hold it down until he  gets back.”

The Magic had their six-game winning streak snapped. The Clippers are the first team to score over 100 points against Orlando in six games.

This was the second straight game for the Clippers to hold a team under 100 points. Not a single player on the Magic score over 17 points.

After leading by three at halftime, the Clippers took control of the game in the third quarter, outscoring the Magic 30-21. They started to pull away during a 14-2 spurt and later ran off seven points in a row.

Though the Clippers struggled with 25  turnovers. They were able to out-rebound the Magic 49-24 leading to a 15-2 advantage on second chance points.

“I mean, we knew it was going to be nasty, but 25 turnovers,” Lue said, “… just makes no sense. We got to be better all around the board, just taking care of the basketball.”

The Clippers will look to extend their home winning streak to seven on Friday night when they play the Sacramento Kings.
