LOS ANGELES— The Clippers smack up the Phoenix Suns 138-111 led by a complete team effort a day after losing to hallway rival Lakers.

“Losing that game really woke us up,” Clippers coach Tyronn Lue said. “Offensively, the ball moved and we created easy shots for one another.”

This is the second win in five days over the Suns for the Clippers.

Six players for Los Angeles scored in double figures. Led by Paul George who finished with 25 points.

Ivica Zubac and James Harden finished with 19 apiece. Kawhi Leonard scored 17 points and Norman Powell & Terance Mann added 14 points each.

Zubac has been playing well lately averaging 13.6 points and 10 rebounds the last five games.

“Right now we’re playing at a high level and everyone is confident,” Zubac said.

A day after struggling offensively the team shot 62.4% from the field and 51.7% from three.

The Clippers scored 100 points through three quarters.

The Clippers put the game away in the fourth quarter winning it 37-20 after already holding a 101-91 lead going into the quarter. A 17-5 run including 15 straight points in the fourth put Los Angeles up 118-96.

For the most part the Clippers defense did a good job on the Suns big three.

Kevin Durant scored 20 of his 30 points in the first half for the Suns. As they dropped their second game in a row playing in a back-to-back. Devin Booker finished the game with 20 points and Bradley Beal only scored 15 points.

The surging Clippers will be back at home Wednesday night when they face off with the Toronto Raptors.
