SAN ANTONIO – – — Big nights from Kawhi Leonard, Norman Powell and Ivica Zubac pushes the Clippers over the Spurs in the 4th quarter of their 128-116 win on Wednesday night.
Leonard had season highs in points, shots attempted & made, assists, rebounds and minutes in the win.
He finished with 27 points adding 7 assists and 6 rebounds in 29 minutes. Leonard shot 11-for-19 from the field.
Ivica Zubac had another big game against another NBA star big with his matchup with Victor Wemanyama. Zubac finished the game with 21 points and 22 rebounds making him just the fourth player with multiple 20-20 games in the NBA this season.
Not to be outdone, Norman Powell added 27 points and 8 rebounds for the Clippers who have now won three of their last four games.
The Clippers led by as much as 17 points in the third quarter before San Antonio made a run. The Spurs closed the third quarter on a 17-9 run and took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter.
Wembanyama made a 3 with 5:38 remaining to give the Spurs their final lead of the game at 105-104 with the Clippers finishing on a 24-to-11 run to pickup the win.
Los Angeles shot 70% in the final period
The Clippers are back in action on Friday night when they face-off against the Charlotte Hornets.
