INGLEWOOD, Calif.– — James Harden’s 22 points and the Clippers stifling defense helps defeat the Sacramento Kings 104-88 on Friday night .
With the win, the Clippers have now won seven straight games inside of their new $2 billion home.
Five players scored in double figures for Los Angeles in the low scoring affair. Derrick Jones Jr. chipped in 17 points and Kevin Porter Jr. added 14.
Los Angeles had their struggles offensively but found their way in the win.
The Clippers defense has been one of the best in the league this season and tonight’s effort proved exactly why. They hounded the Kings all night forcing tough shots all game.
Sacramento shot just 38.6% from the field and 20% from three.
The Kings “Big 3” De’Aaron Fox, DeMar DeRozan and Domantas Sabonis combined to score 69 points but Los Angeles slowed down the rest of the team limiting them to 19 points.
Los Angeles will now hit the road for four games starting Sunday against the Philadelphia 76ers.
