Jason Crowe Jr Explodes for 54 Points, Leading Lynwood High to Victory over Rival, Firebaugh High.
Crowe put on a show for the ages on Friday night, leading Lynwood High School to a dominant victory over Firebaugh high 115-76. The talented sophomore guard erupted for a career-high 54 points, adding 10 rebounds, 8 assists, and 7 steals in a performance that left fans and scouts alike in awe.
Crowe, considered one of the top prospects for the Class of 2026, was unstoppable from the start. Scoring over 20 points in the first half and leading Lynwood to a comfortable lead. He continued to pour it on in the second half, draining three-pointers, driving to the basket, and setting up teammates for easy buckets.
This is the first time that the two newly rebuilt programs have faced off, and both have been expected to win their respective divisions this season.
Through 26 games, Crowe has been averaging 37.3 points, 6 assists, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals per game. He’s already recorded three 50+ point games and twelve 40+.
Crowe is just under 1,000 points for the season so far. 10 games less than it took him last year.
With the playoffs now underway, Lynwood has its sights set on repeating as state champions. They will host Warren High in the first round of the CIF Southern Section playoffs on Wednesday, February 7th at 7:00 pm.
