Super Bowl 57 generated $1.3 billion dollars total economic activity for Arizona. The event also generated $726.1 million dollars for total contribution for Arizona’s domestic gross product. There were also 10,459 jobs created that led to $494.1 million dollars gained for the labor income in Arizona.
When breaking down the numbers for Super Bowl 57, it shows how much the game generates for the entire state that the event takes place. While Glendale hosted the Super Bowl, it was all of Arizona that benefited economically.
That was just Super Bowl 57 and this year’s game is expected to generate much more money in Las Vegas. This year’s game is the most expensive Super Bowl in NFL history.
The average price, including fees, per ticket is $12,082. This is as it is an increase from last year’s price of $8,761 total cost per ticket.
The Allegiant arena holds 1,600 more seats than the State Farm Arena and with the average prices per seat, in calculation Super Bowl 58 will make roughly over $229 million dollars more than last year.
This is only taking into account in person seating and not the viewership, online betting and sponsorships of the Super Bowl.
While Super Bowl 57, was the most watched game on main telecast with 114.1 million viewers, Super Bowl 58 may surpass it with all the money, media support and headlines put into this year’s game.
